This year I'm going to actually try to get to a few cons other than just Katsu, which is.. kind of boring when you don't go in costume, to be honest.
The first one on my list is slightly off the wall I guess, but it's Ohayocon. And hopefully if this plan gets sorted out I'll be able to stalk ~exailious and !sofearless while I'm in Ohio. :3 Not to mention getting to spend lots of times with my fiancee, who is mean and goes to school in dayton D:<
However, if Ohayocon doesn't work out, I'll probably pop up at Katsucon instead. Like always. With a few locals.
Then it's another tie between Colossalcon (in Sandusky, OH) and Otakon. But Otakon wins out if Ohayocon is a go, I'm thinking. Just because I'm not sure I can convince my mother to let me skip class for a con more than once haha.
And after that, I'll try to get down to Arlington with my buddahs and go to AnimeUSA. But that one might not go, as I've never really made it down there all the times I've lived in Northern VA, I don't see why I'd make it down there while I live in Maryland.
For costumes, though? That's pretty obvious by the journal title.
By the end of 2010 I plan to have a Lt. Noel Vermillion outfit ([link] in my possession, though trying to construct it may be slightly difficult for someone who isn't very good with their sewing. But I have half of the pieces, I just need to get the stuff for the hat/wig, boots, and Bolverk. And possibly get Jordan to make either Jin Kisaragi ([link] or Yuuki Terumi ([link] to go with it. This is him: ([link] if anyone wants to suggest which one he should do..but I doubt you all will read this anyway.
And if all goes well, I'd like to eventually have an Aki Izayoi ([link] outfit, to accompany my sweetie as Yusei Fudo :3
Humm.. I suppose that is it, for now! I'll post progress pics of Noel as I go!
